Malcom ‘to sign’ three-year Al-Jazira deal after Al-Hilal exit | OneFootball

Malcom is set to leave Al-Hilal and join Al-Jazira on a free transfer this summer. ESPN reports that the Brazilian has decided to terminate his contract, will undergo a medical in the UAE within hours, then sign a three-year deal.

The exit suits Al-Hilal, who have pushed to move him on in order to bring in a new winger. Pedro Neto is viewed as the frontrunner to fill that role.

The switch would end a three-year stint in the Saudi Pro League.

Several clubs chased the 29-year-old in recent weeks, notably Saudi side Al-Diriyah along with Qatar’s Al-Sadd and Türkiye’s Fenerbahce. Al-Jazira won the race.

He joined Al-Hilal from Zenit in summer 2023 and won five trophies, the Saudi Pro League, two King's Cups and two Saudi Super Cups.
