Malen called up to represent Netherlands at World Cup

Ronald Koeman has released the official Netherlands squad for the World Cup, taking place in the USA, Mexico, and Canada in a few weeks.

Devyne Rensch, despite his recent good performances for Roma, is sitting out.

There’s plenty of competition for that position: from Dumfries to Frimpong, not to mention Akè and Timber.

Donyell Malen, however, is impossible to miss.

The Roma striker, the subject of a funny video announcing his stay in the capital, has been called up by Koeman.

In addition to him, Crysencio Summerville, a target for the Trigoria club for the left wing position, will also be included.

Fresh from his relegation with West Ham, the Hammers player could switch clubs in the upcoming summer transfer window, which is now rapidly approaching.
