Liverpool’s summer transfer campaign has perhaps left them looking a little light in attack.
Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Ben Doak have all disappeared from the squad. If no deal can be done for Alexander Isak in the next few days then Arne Slot risks putting a heavy load on the likes of Mo Salah, Hugo Ekitike and Cody Gakpo.

One solution could be to play Rio Ngumoha more often. The 16-year-old confirmed his status as one of the most exciting prospects around with a goal against Newcastle on his Premier League debut.
With space on the left wing owing to Diaz’s departure, Liverpool are confident that Ngumoha can rise to the challenge.
Nonetheless, Liverpool have been linked to several attackers in the event that they don’t get a deal done for Isak. One such name is Malick Fofana - who plays for Lyon.
The 20-year-old has been touted as a potential Liverpool player for several months now - with Lyon’s precarious finances perhaps giving Liverpool an incentive to bid for one of their prized assets.
But it appears the left winger now has NO plans to quit the French Ligue 1 side this summer.
That’s according to a new report from Sacha Tavolieri - who claims that Fofana has not found the ideal project to advance his career during this off-season.
“Malick Fofana has decided to stay at Olympique Lyonnais!,” he wrote on X.
“The Belgian didn't find the club that truly matches his ambitions this summer and prefers to wait for the next transfer windows to find the best project.”
