Valencia earned a point at Mallorca, with Sadiq levelling on 67 minutes after Javi Guerra’s pass, as second-half changes shifted the contest.
According to Superdeporte, a nervy first half left Corberán’s side short of ideas, though the centre-backs stood up well and José Gayà repeatedly offered an outlet down the left.
Thierry’s night ended after 11 minutes through injury, while Tárrega read danger smartly, cutting out an Asano through ball on 29. Alongside Pepelu he handled Muriqi’s threat, and Dimitrievski could do little about the goal, having earlier produced a fine low save from Virgili.
Gayà threatened with early service for Lucas Beltrán that Omar Mascarell cleared, then sent over further deliveries after the break, including one in the 96th minute that Danjuma could not connect with. Beltrán worked hard but was replaced on 60, and Guido was booked for a necessary foul before a late turnover that the referee whistled as a foul.
From the bench, Renzo mixed solid defending with the lapse that left Samú Costa free in the build-up to Mallorca’s goal. Danjuma created openings but sometimes slowed combinations, while Rioja’s crossing pinned Mallorca back and began the move for the equaliser. Javi Guerra made an instant impact, supplying Sadiq to secure the draw seven minutes after coming on.
