Josko Gvardiol isn't necessarily known for his goal-scoring capabilities.

The Man City and Croatia defender is a solid operator who rarely gets himself on the scoresheet, with his last international goal coming almost exactly a year ago against Portugal.
However, the centre-back delivered in the final third when needed by his national team on Friday.
Croatia trailed the Faroe Islands after 16 minutes in a crucial Group L World Cup qualifier.
Just seven minutes later, though, Gvardiol popped up in the area and lashed in a top finish that would have left his City teammate Erling Haaland brimming with pride.
Croatia can book their spot at the 2026 World Cup with a win or a draw this evening.
