Paris Saint-Germain have been strengthening their ties with Portugal under sporting advisor Luis Campos, signing talents like Vitinha, João Neves, and Gonçalo Ramos. Now, they appear to be targeting another promising prospect.
According to a previous report from Foot Mercato, PSG, along with Manchester City and Manchester United, are closely monitoring 17-year-old Geovany Quenda from Sporting Lisbon.
Manchester United’s interest is particularly notable, given that their manager, Rúben Amorim, arrived from Sporting. Recently, Manchester United are planning a summer move for Quenda, with Amorim keen on a reunion, per The Athletic.
While the club’s PSR restrictions are limiting their activity in the January transfer window, the Red Devils are already looking ahead. The 17-year-old is expected to cost around €40 million (£33.4 million), and if the deal materializes, he would link up with Amorim once again.

CaughtOffside reported on Saturday, citing sources, that Manchester City are interested in signing Quenda, a player who is understood to be coveted by Amorim.
Man City have already signed Vitor Reis, Abdukodir Khusanov and Omar Marmoush in this window and that big money spending will probably carry over to the summer.
Quenda’s contract runs until June 2027, and he has a €100 million release clause, which puts Sporting in a strong bargaining position. However, CaughtOffside reports, citing sources, that Amorim is so keen to sign him that the United board are preparing a £40 million to £50 million bid to test Sporting’s resolve.
