Since Tuesday evening, the defeat has caused quite a stir in England. Manchester City fell 3-1 at Bodo/Glimt, the Norwegian club based on the shores of the Norwegian Sea. A Champions League humiliation that hit hard across the Channel, especially after the surprising statements from Pep Guardiola and Erling Haaland.

But according to The Times, it was at the initiative of the team’s leadership group—captain Bernardo Silva and vice-captains Ruben Dias, Rodri, and Erling Haaland—that the players decided to refund the tickets to the fans. This includes those who braved the freezing cold to support them. The total reimbursement is estimated at 10,500 euros, an amount that will be covered by the players themselves. This gesture is intended as an apology after such a painful defeat.
