Manchester City have revealed their new Puma 2024/25 home kit ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Paying homage to their home town, the kit reflects the city of Manchester with references to the famous 0161 dialling code. The new shirt sticks with the team's trademark sky blue colour, while adding a modern take on an established design.
City will don a graffiti style collar with an urban feel as they set out to continue their dominance - they are on the verge of winning a fourth-successive Premier League title after beating Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday and will wrap up the championship with victory against West Ham United on Sunday.
A press release states that the club hope to 'connect with fans around the world' while giving a sense of 'what being a Mancunian is all about'.
City have also celebrated the launch of their new kit with a video and soundtrack performed by Manchester based rapper Mikey Taylor, known more commonly as Tays. The lifelong fan revealed his 'dream' to work alongside the club and his excitement ahead of the new season.
He said: "It's fresh, but still reflects what it means to be City. I hope fans around the world connect with the track, and I can't wait to see the team walk out in this kit."
City are heading into their sixth season with Puma as their kit manufacturer, with the German sportswear giants replacing Nike back in 2019.
