Manchester City host Feyenoord in the Champions League on Tuesday night aiming to address their alarming run of form.
Pep Guardiola’s side have lost five consecutive games in all competitions, their longest run of defeats in 18 years. It’s the first time in Guardiola’s managerial career that he has lost five games in a row.
Saturday’s defeat to Tottenham was the most concerning to date, as the Premier League champions lost 4-0 at the Etihad. It was the club’s heaviest home defeat under Guardiola.
Feyenoord arrive at the Etihad having lost just once in the Eredivisie this season. However, the Dutch side are fourth in the table, eight points adrift of leaders PSV Eindhoven.
Kevin De Bruyne looks set to earn a recall to the starting side after being eased back into the team in recent weeks. The Belgium international came off the bench during the defeat to Spurs and could make his first start since September.
Jack Grealish and Nathan Ake are also hoping to return to the starting side after involvement as substitutes at the weekend.
Jeremy Doku is a chance to return from a thigh issue, though Rodri (ACL), Oscar Bobb and Mateo Kovacic are definite absentees.
Manchester City predicted XI: Ederson; Walker, Akanji, Stones, Ake; Lewis, Bernardo, Foden, De Bruyne, Grealish; Haaland.
