FULL TIME! BRENTFORD 0-1 MAN CITY

OneFootball Videos

It wasn't pretty in the second half but Erling Haaland did the business inside nine minutes of the first.

City move into fifth and are just three points off the leaders.

It's also now 250 Premier League wins for Pep Guardiola.

It leads to nothing but there is four minutes of added time for them to salvage something.

Donnarumma is far too lax on the ball and gets closed down, giving away a corner.

This has been a very dull game in truth.

There's been next to no chances in the second half.

Jérémy Doku and Bernardo Silva are on for City, who would absolutely rue letting this one slip.

Frank Onyeka replaces the injured Yehor Yarmoliuk, while Vitaly Janelt is on for Jordan Henderson.

Big changes. Will there be a big impact?

Keith Andrews rolls the dice and brings on Dango Ouattara and Mathias Jensen for Mikkel Damsgaard and Igor Thiago.

20 minutes left for his side to do something.

It's been a much better start to the second half from Brentford.

That is a warning sign for City. They really need another goal.

HUGE CHANCE!

Brentford haven't had a sniff but they should be level.

Igor Thiago wins a long ball and goes one on one with Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The striker's touch is far too heavy and the City keeper stops him.

Should have scored.

BACK UNDERWAY!

Can the Bees buzz at all in this half?

HALF TIME!

You are unlikely to see a more one-sided half all season but City only lead by one goal.

Can Brentford muster something up after the break or will Pep's men kick on?

WHAT A SAVE!

Could this be a big moment in the game?

Nico O'Reilly hangs a cross towards the back post and Tijjani Reijnders hammers a volley that appears goal bound but the Irish keeper turns it away with a brilliantly strong reflex.

Brentford haven't had a shot yet, and have an xG of 0.0.

Needless to say, City are dominant.

Oscar Bobb absolutely burns Aaron Hickey with pace, power and trickery but Brentford scramble the ball away.

The Bees have not really got going here.

RODRI OFF INJURED!

City's ideal start has its first hiccup as their star midfielder is forced off with what looks like his latest injury.

He really can't catch a break right now. Nico González comes on in his place.

Haaland now has nine goals in the Premier League this season from six and a bit games.

They may as well hand him the golden boot now.

GOAL! HAALAND CAN'T STOP SCORING!

One long ball to the Norwegian is all it takes.

He bullies Sepp van den Berg and smashes the ball past Caoimhín Kelleher.

He is simply unstoppable right now.

Unsurprisingly City have dominated the early possession with Brentford happy to play on the counter.

KICK OFF!

And we're underway at the Gtech Stadium!

We're a little over 20 minutes away from our final Premier League game before the international break.

Man City can move into fifth with a win while Brentford will be looking to claim their second Mancunian scalp in the space of eight days.

A chance for the Toffees as Maxence Lacroix clatters Timothy Tim Iroegbunam.

CHANCE NEWCASTLE!

Tonali's cross come shot has Sels scrambling. The Forest goalkeeper just tips over before the attempt nestles into the net.

Lovely technique for that Guimarães goal. Can Forest muster a response?

Villa are enjoying themselves right now and Matty Cash tries to get in on the action with a rifled shot from distance. A busy Dubravka is on hand to prevent a Villans' third.

CHANCE EVERTON

Bruno Guimarães with an absolute peach to send St James' Park into raptures. The Brazilian sends a beautiful curling strike into the top corner.

CHANCE WOLVES

Jhon Arias is left completely unmarked to pick his spot. But he messes up the finish and fires over the bar.

CHANCE VILLA

Watkins and Malen play a nice one-two and the ball is sent to Morgan Rogers, who lashes towards goal and draws a save from Dubravka.

CHANCE NEWCASTLE!

Newcastle whip the ball into the dangerman Nick Woltemade, who lashes a first-time shot towards goal but Morato gets his body in the way to prevent a certain goal.

Newcastle come out for the second half wit more urgency and Anthony Gordon's goal-bound shot is blocked by Forest's defence.

SECOND HALF

We're back underway for the second 45 across all four games.

Things are looking good for Oliver Glasner's Eagles this afternoon. Can they hold on against Everton?

Wolves are halfway to their first league win of the campaign. There's no room for complacency against Brighton, though!

The Premier League's most in-form defender right now?

HALF TIME: Aston Villa 1-0 Burnley

Villa grew into the first half and Donyell Malen's first goal of the campaign gives Emery's outfit a one goal advantage.

HALF TIME: Newcastle 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Joelinto had two good opportunities to open the scoring, but was thwarted by Sels twice. All square at the break!

HALF TIME: Wolves 1-0 Brighton

In a whirlwind few minutes, Pereira saw red for dissent before Munetsi thumped in the opener for Wolves.

HALF TIME: Everton 0-1 Palace

Munoz's well-taken finish gives the Eagles a first half lead.

Newcastle have a succession of shots at the Forest goal before Sandro Tonali lashes wide with the third and final attempt.

Palace carved through Everton for the opener.

Villa denied a penalty after Morgan Rogers goes down inside the area. Referee not interested, however.

Burnley have a job on their hands at Villa Park now.

GOAL PALACE!

Daniel Munoz scores for the second time in four days, sliding his finish under the onrushing Pickford and into the net.

CHANCE EVERTON

It's been all Palace but Everton almost take a first-half lead against the run of play. James Garner's cross is inches away from being tapped into the net by Thierno Barry.

Up and running.

OFF THE POST!

Palace almost take the lead at Everton as Tyrick Mitchell's powerful strike from a tight angle cannons off the post.

GOAL VILLA!

Donyell Malen latches on to Kamara's through ball and tucks into the net with a tidy finish.

GOAL WOLES!

The Old Gold don't need their manager to get off the mark! It's Marshall Munetsi who fires in off the bar. A dramatic few minutes in the Black Country.

RED CARD

Vítor Pereira is sent to the stands early on for dissent on the touchline at Molineux.

It's turning into an individual battle at St James' as Joelinton's header is saved expertly by Sels.

CHANCE VILLA

Villa swing in a dangerous corner and Ezri Konsa rises to meet it with a decent header, forcing Martin Dubravka into action.

Quilindschy Hartman breaks past the Villa backline and almost gives Burnley the lead.  Emiliano Martinez is on hand to divert Hartman's subsequent shout, though.

CHANCE NEWCASTLE!

Newcastle's Dan Burn launches a long-throw into the box the ball falls to Joelinton, whose snapshot is held by Matz Sels.

Dibling must have made a decent impression on Moyes. The teenager makes his Everton PL debut this afternoon.

Burnley threaten at Villa Park early on and work the ball into the box, but there's no one on hand to finish.

Palace seek an early goal on Merseyside and Jeremy Pino's 20-yard strike is gathered by Jordan Pickford.

There's another milestone at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this afternoon for Jordan Pickford.
