Manchester United are reportedly eager to get clarity on whether or not interested parties will make a move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka as this could have an impact on their summer transfer plans going forward.

Wan-Bissaka has entered the final 12 months of his deal at Old Trafford and it’s believed that he’s one of the players Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS could part ways with in case enticing offers are made for him.

The Englishman has been linked to a number of outfits including Galatasaray, West Ham, Inter Milan, Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

A recent report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Serie A giants AC Milan also retain an interest in the right-back.

Milan had identified Tottenham Hotspur’s Emerson Royal as their number one target but a move for the Brazilian has since stalled. As a result, the Rossoneri are weighing up a swoop for Wan-Bissaka.

According to GIVEMESPORT, United want to know whether teams keen on adding Wan-Bissaka to their ranks will make a move soon as his departure could have a bearing on their recruitment activities going forward.

Depending on what happens with Wan-Bissaka, it’s understood that Erik ten Hag could alter his plans.

The news outlet reveals, “Manchester United are waiting to discover whether there will be good opportunities to cash in on Wan-Bissaka, according to GMS sources, as his departure could result in ten Hag making a U-turn and deciding to target a different type of full-back ahead of the transfer window slamming shut.”

“GMS sources have learned that Manchester United have already been on the lookout for a new left-back due to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia’s respective injury records, but Wan-Bissaka’s exit may result in ten Hag turning his attentions towards recruiting a versatile full-back who is capable of featuring on both sides of the backline instead.”

The Red Devils parted with £50million when they signed Wan-Bissaka from Palace in 2019. GMS note that United are fully aware they will not be able to recoup what they forked out for the 26-year-old.

Some of the full-backs previously mentioned to be on the club’s radar include Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen) and Kyle Walker-Peters (Southampton).

GMS explain that Wolves star Rayan Ait-Nouri is also under consideration but Gary O’Neil’s side have no desire to let him walk away and so, could look to scupper his potential Molineux exit by increasing their demands for him.
