Manchester United kick off their new season against Arsenal on Sunday 17th August at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils will be hoping that they can start strongly after an horrendous campaign last year.
Ruben Amorim’s side finished 15th last year, by far their worst ever Premier League season.
They also went trophyless for the first time since the 2021/2022 season, losing the Europa League final to Tottenham Hotspur.
As a result, the club will not play in any form of European competition next season and will focus entirely on propelling themselves back up the league table.
The club’s official website have confirmed that there has already been a change to United`s second fixture of the season against Fulham.
United will travel down to Craven Cottage, London in their second match of the season and first away trip of 2025/2026.
The site confirms, “Manchester United’s first away game of the season, at Fulham, has been moved to Sunday 24 August.”
This means that “our meeting with the Cottagers will now kick off at 16:30 BST, therefore, Ruben Amorim’s men open 2025/26 with two fixtures in the ‘Super Sunday’ primetime slot.”
United’s fixture against Burnley on Saturday 30th August at 3pm UK time remains the same, before the September international break commences.
The Red Devils will hope to protect a good record against the Cottagers at their ground lately as they “have emerged victorious on each of our last eight top-flight visits to Fulham, a run stretching back to 2011.”
Lisandro Martinez was the match winner back in January when he scored an ambitious long-range effort late on to give his side a 1-0 win.
