Watching an irritated Rasmus Hojlund becoming visibly frustrated with Amad Diallo has become a recurring scene for Manchester United fans, and they aren’t happy about it.
Earlier this month, the two young players were spotted arguing at the final whistle at the end of the Europa League contest against Viktoria Plzen. The Dane wasn’t happy with the Ivorian who refused to pass him the ball on a few occasions.
Ruben Amorim was asked to comment on the episode, and he insisted it a positive occurrence, as it shows that the players care about winning.
But while the fans weren’t too troubled the first time around, especially with the match ending with a victory, the latest episode against Wolves was poorly received for obvious reasons.
A circulating video on social media shows Hojlund’s angry reaction when Amad decided to go for goal himself before seeing his shot blocked.
But while the striker felt that he warranted the ball as he was in a better shooting position, the fans on social media saw it differently, or at least the ones whose comments were picked up by the Dail Mail.

These Red Devils supporters didn’t appreciate Hojlund’s negative reaction to his teammate, urging him to stop complaining and focus on improving his own skillset since he has yet to prove his worth.
“This Hojlund guy is so unbearable,” commented one person on X. “Amad has every right to shoot there and man keeps moaning. You can’t even hold the ball properly.”
“His positioning is the worst I’ve seen from any striker ever,” wrote another fan.
“Hojlund makes a run and starts wrestling the defender instead of the through ball… then he wants to get mad when Amad decides not to pass to him,” argued a third X user.
“Hojlund has to stop bitching and crying whenever Amad doesn’t pass.”
“Not Hojlund acting like an entitled whiny three-year-old when Amad didn’t pass and then the next time he gets the ball loses it instantly,” reads a fifth comment.
Nevertheless, Hojlund remains Ruben Amorim’s favorite option upfront amidst Joshua Zirkzee’s struggles and Marcus Rashford’s exile.
