Manchester United and Juventus are preparing to go head-to-head in pursuit of Andrey Santos in 2026.
According to a brand new report from TuttoJuve, both clubs have set their sights on the young starlet as he struggles to cement a starting role under Enzo Maresca.

The Italian outlet adds United are ‘firmly targeting’ Santos, whom they view as an ‘investment for the future’, given he’s only 21 years old.
However, Chelsea are reluctant to facilitate the midfielder’s departure, not least to a direct Premier League rival – one who trumped them 2-1 at Old Trafford on September 20.
Santos arrived at Stamford Bridge from boyhood club Vasco de Gama in January 2023 before returning to the Rio de Janeiro outfit on loan.
It’s thought the deal was in the region of £18 million, and they have since rejected a £45 million bid from Nottingham Forest over the summer, indicating just how highly the player is valued in West London.
The four-capped Brazil international has started twice in the opening nine Premier League matches this term and missed out on the win against Liverpool due to injury. He has been utilised five times off the bench and was an unused substitute for their 2-2 draw with Brentford.

Speculation has strongly suggested INEOS will add a midfielder to Ruben Amorim’s ranks in two months’ time after opting against bolstering the position in the closing stages of the summer; talks were held with Carlos Baleba, but nothing materialised due to Brighton and Hove Albion’s £100m+ valuation.
Chelsea have endured fluctuating form this term, with their loss to newly-promoted Sunderland over the weekend leaving them ninth-placed in the table.
As such, you’d imagine they’d be even more reluctant to part ways with one of their most valuable and coveted assets.
