Against Midtjylland tomorrow night, Ferguson will lead the Giallorossi attack.
This is almost a given for Gasperini, with Dovbyk out and Dybala targeting Napoli. Furthermore, Baldanzi, who started against Cremona, is not on the UEFA squad.
Therefore, the Irishman will shoulder the burden of the attack in the coming weeks.
January, however, is getting closer, as is Zirkzee, who is now closer to joining Roma.
The Dutchman has now been dumped by United fans as well. Even Michael Owen, a great former Red Devil, has stated that he “doesn’t like him at all.”
And after the game against Everton, in which he started and failed to shine, his future in Manchester seems sealed. Zirkzee, after losing to one of the Friedkin clubs, is close to joining another of the Texans. United has now decided to sell him, and Roma is ready to pull off a coup.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, United will evaluate Roma’s offer in the coming days, which includes a loan with an option to buy that becomes mandatory if they qualify for the Champions League.
Zirkzee has already said yes to a return to Serie A after a less-than-successful year in England. He would also be delighted to work with Gasperini, who already wanted him at Atalanta.
