La Liga champions Barcelona have this week received a message from Manchester United, regarding the future of Marcus Rashford.
This comes amid the understanding that the Red Devils are not open to the prospect of loaning their attacking star out once again.
Frontman Rashford of course spent this past season plying his trade in the colours of Barcelona, on a temporary deal away from Old Trafford.
Despite the Englishman having produced at an impressive rate as a rotation player, however, the Camp Nou brass made the call not to activate their option to make Rashford’s signing permanent.
Deco and co. had until now not completely ruled out the possibility of a return for Rashford, eager to talk through the terms of a 2nd successive loan move for next season.
As alluded to above, however, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then no such transfer appears to be on the table.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing the BBC:
‘The Red Devils are not keen on another loan for the 28-year-old.’
Rashford’s future, as a result, remains completely up in the air as things stand.
