Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has set his sights firmly on a move to Spain, with La Liga heavyweights Barcelona.
That’s according to Diario Sport, citing Fabrizio Romano, who have today provided a fresh insight into the situation.
The name of frontman Rashford has of course positioned itself front and centre in the media headlines in Spain over the course of recent weeks.
This comes after the revelation that the 27-year-old is ready to depart Old Trafford next summer was followed by swift links with the aforementioned Barcelona.
As much comes amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide on the part of the Blaugrana.
And, if the latest word to have come to the fore on Thursday is anything to go by, then Rashford, for his part, is equally keen on the prospect of joining forces with Hansi Flick’s side for next season.
As per a report from Sport:
‘According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the English winger’s priority would be to leave England and play in the Spanish League. And there his preferred destination is Barça.’
The England international, it is understood, sees Barcelona’s as a system in which he could rediscover his very best form.
