Manchester United finally got rid of their Jadon Sancho problem, and while the Englishman might have thought plenty of clubs would be lining up for his services, that has not proven to be the case.

There have been rumours of interest from English clubs, but nothing concrete has materialised. The Red Devils did the right thing by not triggering his extension option.

The 26-year-old failed to earn a permanent stay at either Chelsea or Aston Villa, and his lack of effort out on the pitch has been clear for all to see.

Saudi Pro League sides have also steered clear, which goes to show how limited the market is for the England international.

BVB back in the fray for Jadon Sancho

Interestingly, BILD have claimed that former club Borussia Dortmund have re-entered the fray for the former United winger after Giannis Konstantelias suffered an injury on his debut.

However, it is far from an easy deal owing to Jadon Sancho and his considerable financial demands. Unless the attacker removes those obstacles, a move might not be possible.

“Speculation surrounding Jadon Sancho (26) is now rapidly escalating. The Briton is available on a free transfer after his contract with Manchester United expired.

“Borussia Dortmund would only have to pay his salary. If Sancho is truly willing to forgo a signing bonus and accept a heavily performance-based contract, a return to Dortmund could be on the cards.”

Will Jadon Sancho accept their demands?

BVB boss Carsten Cramer (57) addressed the rumors on Sky90: “There’s hardly a name that electrifies the people of Dortmund more than Jadon – that’s just the way it is, that’s been the case throughout the entire summer break.

“Jadon hasn’t done anything wrong, he’s an impeccable young man. But we consistently handle it this way, we don’t comment on any names at all.”

If the former Manchester City starlet does not reduce his demands, Dortmund will move on to Arsenal attacker Ethan Nwaneri.

The clock is ticking for Jadon Sancho. While he has time on his hands owing to his free agent status, not joining a club which trusts you might result in his career going even further downhill.
