Marc Skinner’s side also have a date with Atlético Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16 in February.

They also have a busy schedule of league matches to fulfil as they chase Champions League football for a second consecutive season.

Safe passage in cup

United booked their place in the fifth round with an impressive 5-0 victory over Burnley.

Julia Olme, Simi Awujo, Lea Schüller and Layla Drury all scored their first goals for the Red Devils in a highly satisfying afternoon for the team.

Next opponent

The club also found out who they will play in the next round of the cup as the club’s official website reports, “Manchester United will play a blockbuster tie away to Adobe Women’s FA Cup holders Chelsea in the fifth round of this season’s competition.”

The site continues, “the rematch of last term’s Wembley final between the sides is due to take place on Sunday 22 February, with exact details to be confirmed in due course.”

United have reached three consecutive finals, winning the tournament in 2024.

They lost the 2023 and 2025 finals to Chelsea but overcame the Blues in 2024 at the semi-final stage, before going on to beat Tottenham Hotspur in the final at Wembley.

United drew 1-1 with Chelsea earlier in the season and will hope to go one better in the cup.

Liverpool will face Everton in a Merseyside derby, whilst London City Lionesses will play Tottenham Hotspur in yet another derby match-up.
