Manchester United Women have had a busy off-season so far.

Summer of change

They have sold or released numerous senior players, including star striker Melvine Malard.

The Red Devils have also brought in a couple of new players: German keeper Janina Leitzig and Spanish full-back Andrea Medina. Nonetheless, the biggest change has been the departure of Marc Skinner, with Eva Olid stepping in as the new head coach of the side.

United have drawn a behind-closed-doors friendly with Leicester City , but have since travelled to Spain for a pre-season training camp where they will also play Newcastle United.

Summer camp squad

The side departed England on Friday, and here is the travelling squad.

New signing Leitzig has travelled alongside number one keeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce.

Youngster Evie Mitchell is the third keeper who has been brought along on the trip.

In defence, Dominique Janssen, Maya Le Tissier, Anna Sandberg, and Jayde Riviere make up the experienced members of the team.

New signing Medina is also joined by youngsters Scarlett Hill, Lucy Newell, and Jess Simpson.

In midfield, Hinata Miyazawa, Jess Park, Ella Toone, and Julia Zigiotti are the senior options.

One of the reasons Olid was hired is her ability to work with young players, and Jessica Anderson, Simi Awujo.

Finally, Elisabeth Terland, Fridolina Rolfo, and Lea Schuller will be joined by young starlets Ellen Wangerheim and Lucy Newell.
