Many legendary football figures have called Manchester United and Old Trafford home, and Brazilian icon Casemiro is no different.

The Red Devils enjoyed a 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest to kick-start Sunday's Premier League action, and though so much attention will justly be paid to Bruno Fernandes' record-tying assist, the final acts of the metronomic Brazilian midfielder will no doubt long be remembered.
Included in the starting XI for the final time at the Theatre of Dreams, Casemiro was afforded a standing ovation when he came off in the 81st minute, before returning to the centre of the pitch to bid farewell to the United faithful along with his partner and daughter.
First arriving in England during the 2022 summer transfer window after a glowing period with Real Madrid, the SĆ£o Paulo native leaves a fan-favourite after 160 appearances and 26 goals across all competitions.
Despite a moment where his performances dipped, and uncertainty surrounded his future, Casemiro rekindled some of his best work this season to help headmaster Michael Carrick push the Red Devils back into Europe.
Perhaps there was no better farewell present to offer.
Once a Red, always a Red.
