Manchester United youngster Tyler Fredricson has left the club to join Swiss side Lausanne-Sport in a permanent deal.

The 21-year-old rose through the club’s academy and went on to make four first-team appearances for the Red Devils.

“Everybody at United thanks Tyler for all his efforts during his time with the club and we wish him all the best for the next chapter of his career,” United said in a statement.

Lausanne-Sport is United’s sister club, with the Swiss side also owned by Ineos. There is a possibility that United could buy him back in the future, should he develop as hoped.

His exit is not expected to be the only one between now and the end of the transfer window, however.

Striker Joshua Zirkzee will be allowed to leave for the right offer, with Italian club Juventus among those keen.

Goalkeeper Radek Vitek is attracting interest from several clubs in England and is another who will be allowed to depart for the right fee, along with young defender Harry Amass.

Meanwhile, midfield duo Dan Gore and Toby Collyer could too follow Fredricson out of the exit door, with United willing to listen to offers for the pair.

And Marcus Rashford is set to return to pre-season training with United with the club continuing to weigh up his future following his spell out on loan at Barcelona last season.
