Manchester United are monitoring the possibility of signing Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni according to reports.

Speculation has mounted in recent days of United's interest in the 26-year-old as they look to replace Casemiro this summer and add depth to their midfield.

Now, BBC Sport's Simon Stone says that with Real Madrid expected to make big chances this summer they could be open to a 'sizeable offer' from the Premier League side.

Tchouaméni has been one of Real Madrid's better performers this season and has a contract until the end of the 2027/28 season so a deal would not come cheap.

As well as the French international, United are said to be looking at Adam Wharton, Carlos Baleba, and Elliot Anderson – although the latter is said to be closer to moving to cross-town rivals Manchester City.

Aurélien Tchouaméni has featured 190 times for Real Madrid since his move from AS Monaco in 2022, scoring seven times and making eight assists.
