Manchester United are amongst several English and European clubs interested in Southampton teenager Tyler Dibling.
Even though the Saints are enduring a torrid campaign that will culminate in an inevitable relegation to the Championship, the 19-year-old has been one of the few bright spots at St. Mary’s.
After being promoted to the first team in the summer, the Englishman has thus far scored twice in the Premier League, and also has a similar tally in the FA Cup. Dion Dublin went on to compare the Exeter native to Chelsea star Cole Palmer.
So according to CaughtOffside, Man Utd have entered the fray for Dibling who has several other suitors, including Tottenham, Aston Villa and RB Leipzig.
As the source explains, the teenager would likely command a fee in the region of €40 million, but it remains to be seen if Southampton’s demotion would force them to accept lower figures. In any case, the England U21 starlet is unlikely to dwell at the club beyond the current campaign, as he’ll be heading towards greener pastures.

Dibling is a left-footed player who enjoys cutting from the right wing. Hence, he could be the ideal profile to replace Antony who has found a new lease on life while on loan at Real Betis, and is expected to leave permanently in the summer.
Moreover, the Southampton youth product would represent an alternative for Sporting CP’s Geovany Quenda who snubbed a reunion with Ruben Amorim at Man Utd, instead agreeing to join their rivals Chelsea.
Dibling could be a suitable fit for the Portuguese manager’s 3-4-2-1 playing system, but usurping Amad Diallo in the pecking order won’t be an easy task, especially with how the Ivorian was performing before his momentum was halted by injury.
