Manchester United are close to completing the signing of Mexican defender Rebeca Bernal according to reports.
The Red Devils are in need of defensive reinforcements this summer with the departures of Millie Turner and Gabby George to Birmingham City and Brighton & Hove Albion respectively.

According to journalist Conner Roberts of The Cutback United are now close to finalising a move for Bernal.
The 29-year-old former Monterrey player is currently at NWSL side Washington Spirit but did not feature in last weekend's 1-0 win at home to Bay FC.
So far Bernal has played 22 times for Washington Spirit in the 2026 season, chipping in with three goals.
