Man Utd sign Welsh youngster Kit Margetson

Manchester United have announced the signing of Welsh youth international Kit Margetson.

The 19-year-old joins the club from Swansea City with the two sides agreeing a compensation fee for the player.

Margetson is the son of former Manchester City goalkeeper Martyn Margetson, who also featured for Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City before starting a coaching career.

Last season, the Wales U21 international spent the season on loan from Swansea City at Connah's Quay, helping the team secure European football.

Margetson is likely to begin his United career with the U21s with the likes of Senne Lammens, Tom Heaton, Dermot Mee, and new arrival Karl Darlow ahead in the pecking order.
