Man Utd sources deny interest in Jürgen Klopp

Manchester United sources have reportedly denied reports suggesting an interest in appointing Jürgen Klopp.

The former Liverpool boss's agent, Marc Kosicke, recently gave an interview in which he referenced Chelsea and Manchester United as two clubs who had been keen on bringing Klopp back to management.

However, according to journalist Rich Fay of Manchester World the club have 'strongly denied' those claims and have never had contacts to recruit the German.

Of course, Klopp was never likely to take over at Old Trafford or any other Premier League side although he has been linked with the Real Madrid job in recent weeks.

After leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 season, the 58-year-old has been working as Head of Global Football for Red Bull.
