A host of Premier League clubs returned to pre-season action on Saturday.
Here's what went down.
Manchester United and Leeds' showdown ended in a dour 0-0 draw.
Matheus Cunha made his debut for the Old Trafford club in Stockholm, where kick-off at the Strawberry Arena was delayed by ten minutes due to heavy traffic.
But the Red Devils' best chances of the first half fell to Casemiro, who fired over the bar from distance before hitting the woodwork just moments from the interval.
Leeds winger Largie Ramazani proved to be their brightest spark and twice tested Tom Heaton after coming on during the second half in the Swedish capital.
Kobbie Mainoo emulated Casemiro's misfortune with a header that also hit the bar from a corner before Ilan Meslier thwarted Ayden Heaven's attempt at the follow-up.
Scorers:Â Engles (pen) 30', Kenny 45', Yang 53', Scales 74'
Celtic produced a 4-0 dismantling of Newcastle to claim the Adidas Trophy.
The Scottish champions took the lead after being awarded a penalty in the first half when Joe Willock took down Arne Engles, who duly converted from the spot.
On the stroke of half time, Johnny Kenny doubled their lead courtesy of a moment of misfortune as Nick Pope was caught out when attempting to clear his lines.
Brendan Rodgers' side piled on the misery early in the second half through Yang Hyun-Jun converting Daizen Maeda's cutback to the far post after a breakaway.
Liam Scales added a fourth as he rose to meet returning hero Kiernan Tierney's cross to beat Martin Dúbravka in a much-changed Magpies' second half line-up.
Scorers: Lankshear 49', VuĹĄkoviÄ 57'
Tottenham handed Thomas Frank a perfect start with a 2-0 win at Reading.
Will Lankshear scored the first goal of the Dane's tenure in the 49th minute as he converted Luka VuĹĄkoviÄ's knockdown from a left-sided Mohamed Kudus corner.
Provider turned poacher just eight minutes later as VuĹĄkoviÄ capitalised on more good work by Kudus before cutting a low finish from inside the penalty area.
Scorers:Â De Neve 7'
Everton's wait for a pre-season win continued after a 1-0 reversal to Blackburn.
Dion De Neve stunned the Premier League outfit on seven minutes by firing home at the far post after Jake O'Brien failed to deal with Todd Cantwell's delivery.
The Toffees enjoyed a handful of chances but saw their best opening fall to Jarrad Branthwaite, who could only head wide from a corner by Harrison Armstrong.
New summer signing Mark Travers kept the deficit respectable by pulling off an impressive save to deny Rovers'Â Harry Pickering in the closing minutes of the game.
Scorers:Â Asp 66'; Irving 13', Marshall 47', PaquetĂĄ (pen) 88'
West Ham kicked off their pre-season with a 3-1 win over Grasshoppers.
Andy Irving opened the scoring for Graham Potter's side with a low finish after he was teed up from Jarrod Branthwaite's surging run to the edge of the penalty area.
The Hammers doubled their advantage just two minutes into the second half through Callum Marshall before Jonathan Asp halved the hosts' deficit.
Shortly before the end of normal time, West Ham were awarded a penalty which Lucas Paquetå turned home to round off a comprehensive victory.
