Fresh from making his first start against Sociedad on Thursday, youngster Ayden Heaven could retain his place on the left side of the back three.

The same can be said for Mason Mount, while the game is also too soon for the likes of Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo.

Patrick Dorgu serves the final game of his three-match domestic suspension for a red card against Ipswich Town.

Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo, who will not play again this season, are long-term absentees.

Fernandes the man in form

Bruno Fernandes has certainly led by example for Man Utd in recent times.

Fernandes has also been directly involved in five goals (scoring three) across Man Utd’s three meetings with Leicester this season.

The Portugal midfielder will expect to continue in that vein against a Leicester side that has lost 12 of their last 13 Premier League games, while failing to score in the last five.

Meanwhile, the Foxes are in danger of becoming the first English top-flight side to lose seven consecutive home matches without finding the net. Also, two more goals against would see them become the first team in Premier League history to concede 1,000 in fewer than 700 games.
