Leeds return to Premier League action at Manchester United on Monday, with an 8pm kick-off at Old Trafford. Their FA Cup win at West Ham appears to have come at a cost, with fresh injury concerns, while Michael Carrick's side also have fitness issues and a suspension.
United last played on the Friday before the international break, a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth after Junior Kroupi's penalty denied them. By Monday they will have gone 23 days without a game. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, early team news across both camps lists three players out and seven doubts, with a Leeds star expected to return.
For United, Benjamin Sesko is a doubt after withdrawing from March international duty, though he may be available. Lisandro Martinez has missed five matches with a calf problem and could be close, but uncertainty remains. Matthijs de Ligt is a major doubt, essentially out, having not played since November with a back issue, and no timescale has been given.
Bryan Mbeumo is viewed as a significant one for the Red Devils and is expected back, albeit with some doubt. He started at Bournemouth but was withdrawn at half-time with a knock, then pulled out of Cameroon duty.
For Leeds, Gabriel Gudmundsson missed West Ham with a minor groin problem and was not risked. Joe Rodon suffered an ankle injury early in the second half and had to come off. Daniel Farke is hopeful he will be fine, noting that Rodon rolled his ankle, will be assessed, and that there is some time before the next game.
