PSG might be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer as uncertainty grows around Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future.
Even though Donnarumma is under contract until 2026, PSG hasn’t begun discussions about extending his deal yet. That pause has sparked rumors about possible replacements, including a seasoned goalkeeper from Barcelona.
Earlier reports from BILD linked PSG to Marc-André ter Stegen if he decides to leave Barcelona. Other clubs reportedly interested include AC Milan, Manchester City, Juventus, and Newcastle United.
SPORT recently shared that Barcelona manager Hansi Flick plans to have important talks with ter Stegen this month. While the longtime No. 1 doesn’t seem to be a key part of Flick’s plans, he may still see out the final year of his contract.

ESPN’s Mark Ogden was asked whether the Red Devils will pursue ter Stegen to solve their goalkeeping crisis, with André Onana set to miss the start of the season with an injury.
“He could be, but he’s not played,” Ogden said. “I mean, he’s not played for about a year, has he? So I think if ter Stegen is the option, that would be… I think it’d be way down the list because that would be a gamble. United have made a lot of gambles over the years.
“Obviously, ter Stegen is a great goalkeeper when he’s at the top of his game and he’s fit, but he’s not played for a long time at any real level. So I think ter Stegen would be… That’d be a concern if you’re not ending up with ter Stegen, probably at the end of August when they’re panicking.”
