Man Utd's Fridolina Rolfö announces pregnancy

Manchester United's versatile forward Fridolina Rolfö will miss the 2026/27 season after announcing her pregnancy.

The Sweden international did not take part in United's WSL opening day defeat away to London City Lionesses last Friday and has now announced the news of her pregnancy to her teammates.

The good news will mean that Eva Olid's will be without Rolfö for the 2026/27 season and likely early into the 2027/28 campaign with time needed to return to full fitness. Indeed, last season another United winger, Celin Bizet Dønnum, announced her pregnancy playing her last game in October 2025 and is yet to return to first team action.

Rolfö joined United from Barcelona in the summer of 2025, scoring seven goals across 30 games for the Red Devils.
