Manchester City and Newcastle United have confirmed their starting lineups ahead of today’s massive Premier League fixture at St. James Park. Pep Guardiola’s side has been building ominously of late and will be eager to continue their impressive form. Eddie Howe’s side has struggled in the Premier League this season and enter today’s match in 14th position in the Premier League table. But they are a tough nut to crack in front of their passionate home support so a tough match awaits Pep Guardiola’s side.

Mateo Kovacic and Rodri will miss today’s match due to injury for Manchester City. Kovacic is sidelined for a considerable length of time due to a heel injury. The Croatian international has had surgery to correct the issue and is unlikely to return until late in the season. Rodri is yet to return to full fitness and City won’t take any risk with Rodri’s fitness.
