Manchester City confirm Savinho departs for Tottenham in €100m deal

Manchester City said on Tuesday morning that Savinho has left for Tottenham, the Brazilian winger moving for around €100 million including bonuses.

Tottenham posted a video shortly after City’s announcement. Roberto de Zerbi is Tottenham head coach.

He will reunite with former PSV team-mate Xavi Simons at Spurs.

Spurs lost 3-0 at Brentford in their first match of the season.

Their outlay has now topped €400 million this window, covering the latest arrival plus Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Jan Paul Van Hecke.

Tottenham would like to keep strengthening and would still be eyeing Omar Marmoush, another City player.
