A move that seemed to be a non-starter may suddenly be a possibility.

Furthermore, Romano reports that Ederson is Galatasaray’s top target to fill the goalkeeper position. Lastly, Romano reports that talks are ongoing between the two clubs over a potential move to Turkey for Ederson.

There is a lot to unpack here, but everything hinges on what Ederson wants to do.

Once Manchester City signed James Trafford, there appeared little chance they’d move for Gianluigi Donnarumma. It wasn’t a move that made sense, especially if Ederson decided to stay at City for next season. But that is the variable in the equation. If Ederson wants to move to Galatasaray and they are prepared to pay Manchester City’s asking price to sell the Brazilian international, the entire equation changes.
