Manchester City legend left in awe of Southampton lone hero's incredible moment

Aaron Ramsdale was one of Southampton's lone warriors against Bournemouth. Having made impressive saves, that one to deny Ryan Christie's brace was flawless, for which keeping legend Joe Hart has praised him.

Once a legendary keeper said, "Others dreamt of scoring the perfect goal, I dreamed of stopping it." Sadly, this spirit feels tapering off fast in the new generations.

But, hey it's we, who are to be blamed for it. Don't you think our obsession for attack-intensive football, goals and assists led to now even stellar goalkeeping performances going under the radar?

Had it been otherwise, you should have heard ringing claps for Southampton keeper Aaron Ramsdale rather than aimed taunts.

Why? Because Ramsdale stood almost as a lone warrior in Saints' defence against Bournemouth recently. If not for his presence, it would have been a more shameful result for the Saints.

Managing a massive 5 saves, Ramsdale was outstanding against his former club. Especially, one save of the English International aptly showed his commitment to the Saints club.

Denying a pinpoint header from in-form star Ryan Christie, Ramsdale made a laudable save to keep the scoreline from deteriorating further.

Sadly, while no one acknowledged this magnificent save, former legendary keeper Joe Hart has come forward to praise Ramsdale.

Despite having a natural bias for ex-Celtic teammate Ryan Christie, Man City icon Hart can't resist appreciating the save.

As quoted by the Daily Echo, Hart said: “That is a superb save by Aaron Ramsdale. Credit to him by the way today, in a 3-1 defeat, he was absolutely excellent."

Still, sorrowfully, despite such performances from Ramsdale, Southampton doesn't feel like improving much.

Notably, it hasn't been new with the Saints anyway. Overall, with just their few players performing and others going mediocre, Southampton has been losing on points.
