On Friday, Manchester City said they have appealed the verdict of an independent commission, adding the appeal was filed on Thursday evening. The club insisted it is innocent of the Premier League's accusations and said it holds a complete set of irrefutable evidence supporting its position.
The panel found the club guilty of 114 financial rule breaches.
The ruling covers the period from 2009 to 2018.
The commission was appointed by the Premier League.
Manchester City are owned by an Emirati fund.
