Manchester City: Savinho extends his contract until 2031

Manchester City has officially announced the contract extension of their young Brazilian winger, Savinho. The 21-year-old is now tied to the English club until 2031.

Arriving at City in 2024 from Troyes, Savinho quickly established himself in Pep Guardiola’s squad. In his debut Premier League season, he made 29 appearances, scoring one goal and providing eight assists. While Tottenham showed strong interest in him this summer, the Brazilian ultimately chose to continue his journey with the Citizens:

I am incredibly proud to sign this new contract. It’s a special feeling to know that Pep and the club trust me. It means a lot to me and my family.

The young winger, who has scored once in six appearances this season, also expressed his determination to keep improving:

I’m still young and have a lot to learn. Working with Pep and his staff will help me develop even further.
