Manchester City set to sign highly-rated starlet Mathys Detourbet | OneFootball

Manchester City are reportedly close to securing the services of Mathys Detourbet (18), according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.

An agreement for a transfer worth an estimated €15 million is said to have been reached between the Sky Blues and ESTAC Troyes, also a member of the City Football Group. Should the deal go through, however, Detourbet is expected to remain in France next season to gain experience in Ligue 1, which Troyes, the current leaders of Ligue 2, are expected to return to shortly.

Having enjoyed a standout season for his youth club, the left winger – a French Under-19 international – has already made 33 appearances (24 as a starter) in the 2025–26 campaign. He has also contributed two goals and seven assists.

Should he move this summer, Detourbet could become the second most expensive sale in ESTAC’s history, behind Savinho (22) and his transfer to the Cityzens in July 2024 for €25 million.
