WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Cityzens this evening.
The 31-year-old joins Manchester City after spending the last four-and-a-half years with Orlando Pride. Moorhouse won the NWSL Championship and NWSL Shield with Pride in 2024.
Moorhouse started out with Everton before enjoying spells with Durham and Doncaster Rovers Belles. A move to Arsenal came next, where Moorhouse won the Subway Women’s League Cup, before the player joined West Ham United. After spending two years with The Hammers, the keeper joined Bordeaux before signing for Orlando Pride in January 2022.
On the international stage, Moorhouse has been capped by England on two occasions. She was a UEFA Women’s EURO winner with her country in 2025.
After joining Manchester City on loan, Moorhouse said “It’s a new challenge, and a different style of play. I’m happy to be here and to get started.
“From top to bottom last season was incredible for City and I’m happy to be here with the champions of England. When a club like Manchester City calls, you have to answer.”
Moorhouse is Manchester City’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
