Rayan Cherki starts on the bench for Manchester City, while Malo Gusto and Wesley Fofana are in Chelsea’s XI for Saturday’s FA Cup final at Wembley, kick-off 16:00.

According to L'Équipe, Cherki, 22, has 10 goals and 15 assists in 49 matches this season and five France caps with one goal. He is in the 26 for the World Cup from 11 June to 19 July but was not named in Pep Guardiola’s starting XI.

Guardiola has also kept faith with goalkeeper James Trafford throughout City’s Cup run, so Gigio Donnarumma is on the bench. The Egyptian Omar Marmoush starts.

For Chelsea, coached by Calum McFarlane, right-back Malo Gusto, 22, nine caps, has been called up by Didier Deschamps for the World Cup. Centre-back Wesley Fofana, 25, one cap, was not selected for the tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
