Iliman Ndiaye has just joined Manchester City, yet says his story with Marseille is not finished.

The 26-year-old grew up in the city and came through OM's academy without making a senior appearance. He broke through with Sheffield United in the EFL Championship, then secured a €17m move to the Vélodrome in 2023.

His single season at OM proved difficult and he fell short of expectations. The campaign was turbulent for the club too, and some recruits, including Ismaila Sarr, later excelled elsewhere.

After impressing at Everton, Ndiaye earned a €70m switch to City in the summer.
