Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City players have now found out their confirmed fixture dates and kick-off times for the league phase of the UEFA Champions League.
The Etihad Stadium club were handed yet another demanding set of opponents in this season’s expanded league phase format, with clashes against the likes of Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, and Napoli among the stand-out contests.
UEFA’s new league phase format sees each club play eight matches – four at home and four away – with all ties scheduled for either 5:45PM or 8:00PM UK time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays across the coming months.
The top-eight sides in the overall league table will qualify directly for the round of 16 phase, while clubs finishing between ninth and 24th will contest two-legged play-offs in February; as seen in the case of City during the last campaign and their match-up with Real Madrid.

Now, Manchester City’s exact fixture order and assigned kick-off times have been confirmed, with fans made aware of final details of when blockbuster meetings with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu and Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium will take place.
