In a recent report, talkSPORT stated that Manchester United have activated the release clause of Aston Villa ace Youri Tielemans this summer. It has been mentioned that the Red Devils are hoping to bring the Belgian midfielder to Old Trafford in this transfer window.

Tielemans’ Impressive Form In The Premier League

Tielemans enjoyed a decent run of form at the West Midlands club as he was responsible for putting in a string of impressive displays for them in the middle of the park. The 29-year-old scored two goals and picked up seven assists in 35 matches for Aston Villa last season in all competitions.

The Belgian talent can shoot the ball with power from long range and can contribute by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team. Tielemans is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also serve as a holding midfielder or play in the number ten position if needed. He has got a wealth of experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at Man United.

Tielemans would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Michael Carrick’s midfield department. He is good enough to challenge for a regular starting place at Old Trafford next season.
