Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui.

The Morocco international has emerged as the club’s top target to strengthen their full-back positions, ahead of Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s expected exit from Old Trafford this summer.

Mazraoui is free to leave Bayern after making just 15 league starts last season and the player is keen on the move to the Premier League, where he would reunite with former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that the 26-year-old has agreed personal terms with United ahead of the potential move, while there are ‘no issues’ on the agreement between the two clubs.

However, the deal is dependent on the Red Devils offloading Wan-Bissaka. West Ham – who coincidentally were in talks to sign Mazraoui – are interested in a deal for Wan-Bissaka but have so far failed to meet the asking price of around £15m.

Inter Milan are also said to be monitoring the situation of the right-back, who is available for transfer after losing his place as an automatic starter to Diogo Dalot.

Wan-Bissaka could become West Ham’s fourth signing of the summer under new head coach Julen Lopetegui, after the arrivals of Max Kilman, Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham.
