Manchester United have been interested in Patrick Dorgu for quite some time. Now, journalist Shaun Connolly has reported that United and Dorgu have agreed on personal terms, and he could well for the Red Devils soon. The report has also stated that Manchester United are having a breakthrough discussion with US Leece, and there will be a new deal in place by February 3.
The club wants to bring in a new left-back, and they were planning to get it done even before the transfer window opened. The new manager wants to get a good left-back from the transfer market, as he has had to use Diogo Dalot out of his position during his tenure so far.
Moreover, everyone is aware of the fact that Amorim wants to play with wingbacks. So, you need full-backs who have to put on huge attacking shifts and also track back to defend. He likes the profile of Dorgu and, hence, wants to get the Leece player in this transfer window.

Overall, Patrick Dorgu’s goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.15. Moreover, his total G/A (goals + assists) is four for this season.
US Leece have always wanted €40 million for him, and the report stated that the Red Devils are not paying something close to that figure. The report also went on to add that United and the player have agreed on personal terms, and the player will receive £3.3 million per year on a long-term deal.
Fabrizio Romano has even stated that the Red Devils could make a fresh bid for the player, and Conolly has added that if Amorim’s club goes on to add €3-4 million in add-ons, then Leece would certainly agree to the amount. It remains to be seen what happens to the deal finally.
