It will be the first-ever club fixture played at the 82,000-seater venue and first football fixture in almost 15 years.

“We are pleased to confirm that our men’s first team will face Leeds United at Dublin’s Croke Park as part of our 2026 Tour, presented by Snapdragon,” a club statement said.

“The match against our Yorkshire rivals will take place on Wednesday 12 August at the iconic 82,000-seat venue – the first time a club football fixture has ever been played at Ireland’s largest stadium.

“August’s match will also be the first football fixture at the venue since November 2009, when the Republic of Ireland faced France in a FIFA World Cup play-off in front of 79,000 fans.”

The confirmed fixtures for Manchester United’s pre-season tour are as followed: Wrexham in Helsinki (July 18), Rosenborg in Trondheim, Norway (July 24), Atletico Madrid in Stockholm, Sweden (August 1), PSG in Gothenburg, Sweden (August 8), Leeds United at Croke Park in Dublin (August 12), and AC Milan in Wroclaw, Poland (August 15).

Tickets for the Leeds fixture will go on pre-sale for Season Ticket Holders, Executive Club Members and Official Members at 4pm Thursday 2 April.
