The much-maligned forward is racking up the goals and prizes while on loan
Antony's redemption arc at Real Betis continued on Sunday with another goal and another man of the match award.
As parent club Manchester United toiled in attack (and midfield and defence) in defeat to similarly beleaguered Tottenham, the much-maligned forward was scoring as Betis beat Real Sociedad to climb up to eighth in La Liga.
Antony was allowed to leave United on loan after a largely miserable two-and-a-half years, which garnered just five league goals.
It's a different tale in Spain, however, with Antony scoring two in three La Liga games and the crucial opener away at Gent in the Conference League last week.
Such performances have not gone unnoticed. From his three Liga games, Antony has been named man of the match in all three.
His latest saw him score one goal and assist another in a 3-0 win at home to Sociedad which puts Betis in contention for a European place.
United, meanwhile, look destined to finish in the bottom half, which would be their worst ever showing in the Premier League.
