The Red Devils are actively seeking defensive reinforcements this summer, and Kalulu has emerged as one of the most versatile and appealing options on their shortlist.

Kalulu, who has been described as a ‘true leader‘, is comfortable operating at right-back and in central defence, with his tactical adaptability regarded as a major asset.

The Frenchman has proved a resounding success in Turin since completing a permanent move from AC Milan.

After impressing on loan, Juventus moved quickly to tie him down on a long-term deal, and he has since established himself as a cornerstone of their defence.

He made 53 appearances across all competitions last season, chipping in with two goals and six assists.

Scouting reports have been overwhelmingly positive, but prising Kalulu away from the Allianz Arena will be a major challenge. Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring the former Lyon youth product.

Juventus are already preparing a lucrative new contract offer to fend off Premier League interest and secure Kalulu’s long-term future in Turin.

Juve would demand a fee in excess of £40 million to open negotiations this summer, underscoring their determination to hold on to a key defensive asset.
