In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Manchester United are eager to recruit AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic. It has been mentioned that the Red Devils would have to rival Aston Villa in the race to land the United States international.

Pulisic’s Impressive Form In Italian Football

Pulisic has made a good start to this campaign as he has managed to put in a run of eye-catching displays for them in Serie A. The 27-year-old has scored six goals and grabbed a couple of assists in nine matches for the Milan outfit this season in all competitions.

The United States sensation has given a good account of himself in the final third based on his average of 2.35 shots per 90 minutes in Serie A. He has kept 77.8% of his attempts on target. Pulisic has also been excellent when distributing the ball in the opponent’s half after making 86.9% of his attempted passes in the Italian top tier (stats via fbref.com).

His current contract at San Siro will run out in the summer of 2027. Hence, Man United would potentially sign him on a cut-price deal at the end of this season.

Should Manchester United Boss Ruben Amorim Get Pulisic On Board?

Pulisic is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to create some promising chances for others around him in the final third. He can shoot the ball with venom from long range and can chip in by scoring a lot of crucial goals for his team.

The AC Milan sensation is primarily a right-winger but can also perform as a left-sided wide player or play as a striker down the middle if needed. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League from his time at Chelsea and won’t take much time to adjust to life at Man United.

Pulisic would inject more quality and depth into Ruben Amorim’s frontline. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the Mancunian club in the coming years.

At 27, Pulisic is playing in his prime and would be a decent acquisition for the Red Devils to pull off next year. All in all, Amorim would be wise to get him on board in 2026.
